For me, when I got into being a webmaster the internet had only just started. It was for the most part an unknown entity. Nobody really knew what potential it had and nobody would have envisioned it to be as big as it is today. Luckily, when i first connected I really liked it and instantly wondered how it worked. I really like to figure out things that I don’t understand so I started looking at the HTML code. This was the start of my webmaster days! From then on I was a webmaster.
I guess I started being a webmaster because I enjoyed coding. I had no idea or plans that I could make money off it. I guess that was an incentive to carry on ;-) How did you become a webmaster? Why do you do it? |

Well it was 6 years ago back in form one or two forget which one, we had just got a new computer and use to get the netguide CDs i installed netscape Nav and started playing around with the composer in that. i would look at the HTML for the webpages on the CD and copy that, lol.
got interested in HTML from that day on, we didn't even have the net at that stage. Thats how i go into it, started learning ASP & JSP after that then 2 years ago i started learning PHP and have stayed with that |

After working redundancy last July, I wanted to learn a bit of web design/some programming, which I taught myself. But still got a way to mainly with PHP and CSS. But really wanted to keep myself occupied at home, and share information, by creating sites/blogs that I have learnt over the years...
